    I think we desperately need more team cohesion. Whether MP2 is the man for that is under question right now. My personal opinion is that we need someone with a very, very strong personality to do so.

    The other question is how much of an effect, consciously or subconsciously, the VVD saga etc has actually impacted upon that.

    I am very sensitive. You've hurt my feelings now.

    Put it this way, I think a huge number of our fans have become spoiled and can't handle a bit of a lean spell. Still, not like I haven't said for ages it would happen.

    We are in a bit of a false position in the league given our kind fixtures, I can honestly say that if we don't see an improvement in the team's performances we will finish 12th-16th this season. I'm willing to give MP2 a chance though and he needs to be given time to find a solution. A lot depends on the January window as to how well we can progress further.

    It's actually something I was expecting in the summer. MP worked with Sammy at Liverpool. Sammy knows the PL, and Saints. Whereas Black was part of the Puel regime - and as far as I can see, only got that gig on the back of being able to speak French.

    Of the 9 goals we've scored this season:

    3 penalties
    2 from set pieces (although the one today took some luck)
    2 goals from players going by themselves (Boufal and Gabbi)
    2 goals from good passing moves (and the Davis one against palace came from a poor clearance straight to him).

    Yeah you can say I'm nit picking. But it's no improvement from last year.
