I agree with all that you just said, will he ever progress to the next level up from that though, I have a lot of doubts.

Hes a solid mid level prem player,can't he see him going beyond that. But that's just me.

 

Ah yeah down by the clock tower. Yeah that’s a half decent joint, though they used to employ an arsehole of a bouncer. Glad you got out of Spoons, West Street is horrible at the best of times. Ones up by the station are open now.

Yeah I'm not a fan of Spoons at all really, just after 20 minutes of trudging around on my own hungover I came across it

Yes it's another tough one and depends on opportunities given to him. He has not had much of a look in so far this season. I see players like winks at spurs and don't think they are too dissimilar but winks is getting a run in the team and improving, gaining experience and confidence.

I think Jwp progress does seem a bit static at the moment but I would really like things to work out.

 

You can't beat a ropey old boozer where your feet stick to the carpet and all the furnishings reak of ale. Even better back in the day when they were thick with tobacco smoke.

I haven’t seen enough from jwp to suggest he will ever be a starter. Good delivery, works hard but he doesn’t excel in any particular area.

 

Although thats not surprising given he hasn't been played in any particular area for a length of time. He excels as a cover player, being able to play most positions on the pitch from right back, to center of the park, to right wing. But he's never been given the chance to master any.

 

As Mauricio said, there are a lot of players who deserve to play. If we were flying, Mauricio would probably be tempted to rotate the squad, but he isn't in a position to risk take at the moment. I don't know what the board are thinking, but some fans (sadly the noisy ones) remain to be convinced.

 

JWP played a bit at the beginning of the season and I thought he had an admirer in Mauricio....but seems out of favour now (or to put another way, others are in favour).

 

He plays his best on the right where he can whip in wicked early crosses without having to beat anyone in a Beckham style. I'm very frustrated that he has not had a look in this season, just because he is not being played is no indication that he is stagnating as a player IMO.
