If we beat Chelsea then the most they can get is 69, the most Villa can get is also 69 (that's if both teams win all of their other games which I think is unlikely). Given our superior goal difference then 7 points (which puts us on 69 too) would be enough unless Villa win all their games 5-0, and Chelsea would have to make up 4+ goals too. Two wins should be enough but 7 means that it would take a huge run of results from those teams to overtake us (just winning all their remaining games wouldn't be enough).
Chelsea have won their last 2 but don't look good, I think we'll beat them. Likewise Brighton clearly aren't that good - 1 win in their last 6 Prem games and that was against an awful West Ham side and they needed an injury time winner, they couldn't beat Leicester either.
I think brighton were missing one or two cbs. I think the blonde one van something is a very good player actually Van hecke mate mot sure.
I sure he will be missing the game v Us as he had to go off with a head injury in the last game he will have to follow the same protocol as Joe Willock had done and miss 2 games
I think we can win all our remaining games, but it relies on us playing to our absolute maximum in all of them and keeping our top players fit (hopefully Joelinton is back for us next week). We've won 7 of the last 8 games, or something like that, so we should be quietly confident and treat each game like a cup final (now that we know how to win those ).
The situation will look very different each game week unless Newcastle grab it by the balls at Brighton and home to Chelsea
You don't disagree with anything I've said then? Get more negative, right now. Essentially, you need to point out how we'll definitely lose the next four games. Only one month to go mate, you'll be able to take a breather soon
I'm really not sure what he was saying there other than "if we don't win the games things won't be as good". I prefer facts and reality - we've won 20 of the last 26 games and we're clearly flying. I'm not sure what balls we need to grab that we haven't been grabbing. We're clearly in better form than Brighton or Chelsea now, and that's reality.
Pawson is the ref for this game That's all I can say on this *@#%×@* Without getting into trouble We have a 4th official who doesn't know.the Laws of the Game Steve Martin Andy Madley on VAR
He was that night when we played Burton and he failed to allow us to re take the penalty Good job Ritchie scored the winner
