I don’t want him to get the chop. He’s got enough credit in the bank to see this through for another year.

But the murmurings coming out of the club aren’t great. We went from being the best run club between 16-20 to now being an utter shambles. And it all stems from winning the league and certain members of the staff now having more control over decisions.

Until we get some structure back and put some people in front of Klopp who aren’t yes me, or if Klopp starts being ruthless, we can expect to see more of the same sh*t.

out of those 8, Elliott would stay due to his age, but you would replace the other seven.

How are you getting rid of them out of interest?

Well we're not getting any more players until the summer. What are we going to do with the players we have until then?

I can't believe we're persisting with 4-3-3 and set up with a pressing and high line when we can't press with the players we have We need to have a rethink and come up with a new formation. I think with the players we have we need to sit back more and play on the counter, more like Klopp's first season and more heavy metal football, with lighting fast counter attacks. That would suit the pace of Salah and Nunez for sure and we have TAA and indeed Alison for long balls

We conceded too many goals defensively playing the heavy mental football, which is why we bought. Alisson and Virgil. Virgil is out and we’re still defensively crap

    At least we scored then.

We’re still conceding goals now so what’s the difference? At least we may win some games 4-3

one thing that's not really talked is what we do have evidence for.

it was fairly clear that the management had talked about wanting a fast start in this game as we managed all of 6 minutes of pressing

to me this suggests that the management are not seeing the inability of this creaking old.man midfield to do it.

once Brighton got into their stride they blew them away.

thaigo as the top of the whatever shape of midfield that was was a disaster.

ox was walking from the first minute till he was removed. he wleven pulled out of tackles.

fabinho was a day state of affairs.

Henderson never got close to anyone.

the game changed as Brighton had to think a little about seeing us off. why? keita and Elliott could at least run a bit.

just watched the game. Agreed, our midfield were absolutely nowhere but our defence was all over the place.

I should not worry about despot forgives like this clown.

I sincerely doubt anyone form this board was over giving it large while they struggled under cashley. quite the opposite in fact.

just being a cheap little toerag isn't he? can't even disguise his wummy efforts.

I just want to be clear as some on here can't see the difference between genuinely wanting it to get better and moaning.

I don't indluge in the the season is over thread, nor klopp out nor much fsg out either. I have seen "plastics" been thrown about this morning, I put that down to anger and move on.

all I'd like to see is some change.

the three most worrying things for me is the set up that Leicester ran through was in full effect yesterday.

matip as rb. konate on his own in 40 yards of space. robbo lb.

Brighton still could have 4 pressing that and we couldn't get out.

second the complete lack of legs in cm area.

finally matip has thrown in another gaffe. the ages change but the same self destruct mistakes happen. perhaps exacerbated busy point 1.

tactically I am looking for something to change, in the mindset we need to see a change and personnel need to change.

I missed the beginning of the game, but when I came in at about 30 minutes or so I was shocked.
Despite our recent defensive frailties I can't recall the last time I saw a Liverpool team so thoroughly under the cosh and seemingly bereft of ideas.
Certainly not in the Klopp era - it was like watching someone else wearing our kit.

Well that's all good. go fix it.

tbh I can remember worse under klopp and the reaction to it so need the reaction.

    1-4 spurs.

this wasn't actually as bad as I feared going in.

I am going to predict Chelsea will run us off the park next weekend as well tbh. sorry folks but there's more dark before the light.

we need to see the changes and reaction. system, personnel, attitude.

attitude can.change today. personnel can be changed. system is hard but possible.

We need to revert to 4-4-2 so we can have 4 older midfielders doing less running and hope the fullbacks can overlap to supply whoever is in attack. Will be a bit boring as we will effectively be sitting tight and hoping to hit on the break.

Thought we played 442 yesterday (although it was more like a 432 with Ox clearly not bothered)

the first 5 were OK. Once Brighton established a platform we fell apart.

    I am sorry guys.

    sorry to raise this again.

another game passes with carvalho sat watching the game. there's a story there. we don't know what it is but it's pretty clear when den doak comes on in your position as a 17 year old (who barely got a kick) that carvalho is persona non grata at lfc.

I've actually defended Ox with his recent performances, he was doing a job. Not saying he was deserving of a new contract, definitely not, more that he was doing a job and could be useful under current injury circumstances until he leaves. After the zero effort performance yesterday, he can go shove a telegraph pole up his arse. Not trying is totally unacceptable imo
