Nah just lacking a touch of quality up front. Brighton did not allow us to push up like Chelsea. A striker with experience would have made all the difference to bring on. Though why joffy was brought on with ten minutes left baffles me.

Brighton deserved the win as they pushed hard all match until they got their goal. Then it was a case of could we hit back and even though they backed off and defended their lead the answer was a resounding no. No biggy as the expected result happened. We now move on and try to improve as certain areas of weakness were exposed again.
Slightly disappointed with our dane full back at the moment I thought he was going to be a big strong addition but he seems ponderous tbh, not the careering full back I was expecting aka bill of recent seasons, time yet I know but he has been the worst of our additions up to now

We'll rightly start as favourites against Everton but they've not lost by more than a goal this season. I'm expecting us to be the better side but they seem to be holding firm at the back despite giving up the lions share of possession in games.
