I'll take the draw as well. Not our finest night, & unclear why Hall didn't get a run out in place of White. More to the point, who the f&ck trains our defenders in the art of defending? No need to dive in when attackers are heading away from the goal!! No need to hold on to attackers anywhere near the penalty area. Just shepherd them out to the wings.

I watched that game and while we were poor I can't help thinking that Brighton were there for the taking, there defence is shocking but we didn't test it really and still got two goals. Taking Diouf off and bringing Norris on was a really negative move I feel and put us on the back foot even more so. Diouf had to come off but I woulda put Hall on I think. Still think we miss Rosco, we need him back
That is the problem I have, apart from a Southampton reserve team 11 we have been second best for the last 4 league games, where is the Warnock hair dryer treatment, we are better than that or should be. The last 4 games we have played they were all there for the taking, we really have thrown at least 6 points down the drain, possibly 9
Diouf was certainly taken off before he was sent off. But what was the linesman doing missing all the pushes & shoves that Diouf was getting everytime the ball was played up to him?
We're a poor to average team producing poor to average performances. The reason we don't ever seem to play well is we're actually not very good. A team of scrappers picking up the odd point here and there. It's a team suited to high tempo football, and the players simply don't have to legs to do it week in week out. We are what we are, and we are where we are, mid table mediocrity. No style, no guile.
