Valencia played the first 61mins for Fenerbahce against us in the friendly, I think he had a shot that hit the post.

I’ve just checked and it was Bob Mortimer and he deliberately copied the voice style of Derek Guyler. There’s a clip from Top Gear where he actually discusses it.

Reeves was definitely involved at some point Lincs. maybe Bob was protecting his mate a little?

Cheers Ben! I vaguely remember reading that. My only point was that it was Bob who voiced the Churchill character. A former student of mine worked on the campaign and mentioned the Top Gear piece though oddly he didn’t mention Vic’s part as another character. Cheers

They had a poor run, they dropped Martin Clunes too for getting awarded a ban for speeding.

I remembered the story about Vic Reeves but don’t recall the ads. I am a channel hopper when they come on though.

One of the ant and Dec pair got into a bit of bother too, they seem to have got over it and they are back on the telly.

I think he's a comedy genius, I've loved all the stuff he's been in; I read his autobiography last year ''And Away'' - as you'd expect it's funny as but it also gives you his life from being a kid, losing his dad, going to uni, failing with girls, painful shyness, meeting Vic + his heart attack; it really is a great read.

Unusually I’m going to disagree with you
I can’t be doing with Vic Reeves. Just annoying and unfunny to me.
Bob Mortimer is great. Even on Reeves and Mortimer he was the only funny person.

    Comedy’s subjective I guess
