just google - Brighton fans report homophobic abuse - each club is surveyed in your report/survey - aint hard to find
In fairness you can park at the ground, you need to book in advance and it costs something like £15. Apparently it takes ages to get out so not worth it. Don't see what the fuss about the parking is myself, loads of trains after the game back to city centre and Lewes etc. We'll give you a game that's for sure, your marginal favourites and i prefer it that way (nothing to lose for us)
Most Albion fans don't give a stuff and aren't offended by it in the slightest - a handful of busy daily mail readers are not representative of most Albion fans. It's fair to say that the OB in Brighton don't take kindly to this kind of abuse, seen people get nicked for the most extreme abuse of this kind and that's quite funny. Anyway I'm sure Hull city are more sophisticated than to hurl a load of abuse like this in our direction!? If not, it won't bother the majority of us..
The homophobic chants are really past their sell by date. You're so southern your practically French went down well though. I like the Amex, good beer, ok food and keeping the bar open after the match is a good idea. Football wise, it will be interesting to see how you are doing without blundergus.
One of the worst draws we could get. Weâre away against a half-decent Championship side, weâll be playing our second-team (full of Championship-standard players with little gametime this season), itâs hardly an exciting draw for either club so the attendance and atmosphere will be ****, and as a consequence of the aforementioned points weâll almost certainly lose. I wish we'd had Sheff United or Charlton at home. More chance of going through
We had someone nicked against BHA few seasons back for shouting 'we can see you holding hands' or 'does your boyfiend know you're here?' That was the home game following the DQPR match when Humbs Police felt they had to be seen to be acting against spotty teenagers who were making cockney hard men blub.
The French chant is funny, that's more like it! It's a game of mixed opinions - I prefer the way we play now than under Gus's leadership. Someone mentioned earlier in the thread it'll depend on who stays during the Jan window, we've resigned ourselves to losing Bridcutt (player of the season last two years). But Ulloa (most likely scorer) would be a bigger loss if he goes - roll on next week where we'll know who's staying and who's going.
Wasn't Brighton the vegetarian capital of Europe at one point, as well as having the most squatters? Non-meat eaters and squatting seemed like ace double entendre's, given the gay tag.
The police are quite selective about who they pull out for it - an example would be Millwall who really are a vile breed of terminally angry people who really go for this type of abuse and the ob stand back and do nothing, whereas other lesser angry clubs get people pulled all the time. It's quite amusing really!
Anyone who thinks thats the cutting edge of wit deserves to be arrested and banned from ever going to a game again. Chants and "banter" are meant to be funny. It's not even that its homophobic, its just **** and embarrassing.
Anyone with such poncey and highly-strung notions of what should or shouldn't be sung or chanted at football should do the rest of us a favour and **** off out of it.
Hull Tigers Soccer Club doesn't need so-called 'fans' like you, Mr Blampey. Kindly remove yourself from the board and allow the rest of us to continue in our misguided, delusional attempt at stamping out fun and individuality, so that the world might one day be like a Coca-Cola advert.
An interesting post this. Is Hornsea suggesting Hulls old folk shouldn't attend away games ? Or is he complaining about the lack of ,'REAL CITY FANS' turning up ? The owld bastards, eh ? Tiger travel ?.....bus ****ers ? Get a grip kid
