I agree. I was just giving my opinion on how it came about, not trying to say it was a good thing. He was pushed into saying something and... well, I've already said what happened afterwards so there's no need to repeat it.
To me this all comes down to the usual sensationalist reporting in the media and ****-stirring amongst tribalistic fans.
Even though many were outraged by it initially, I believe they'd have reverted to type regardless of what Klopp said.
Even Gary Neville was on our side at first, until he remembered he's a twat and who his paymasters are.

 

Yep as normal the press did their normal clickbait headline that didn't actually reflect what was said.
