That's the myth part. It was a disgruntled ex employee Hugh Birt who made that allegation, no one has ever corroborated it, many have disputed it vehemently. Birt had an axe to grind and he made the accusation knowing that Jock was unable to refute it in person.
In fact scrub what I said about Birt, it was Frank Cairney who made the allegation, he was later accused of being a *****phile himself.
As I said, it was Frank Cairney who said that. A beast himself apparently. Whose word would you take? Here's a good article on it. http://www.scotzine.com/2012/12/chi...tool-to-beat-rivals-with-in-football-rivalry/
Not that I recall. Anyway, say it was true and Jock booted him out the door, how does that make Jock the baddie here? IF he did, he simply did what every man of his time would have done, at that time it wasn't the sort of thing you went to the Cops about, you deal with the problem like any working class guy. If Jock had booted him out he probably thought he was in Glasgow parlance "a ****". No **** knew what a *****phile or a Pederast was back then.
Using it as a football slegging is desperate. Do you think no Rangers fans/staff have ever been *****s?
