Just musing over my muesli on Cloughie.

Have read articles today...Pat Murphy's highly recommended and saw his incredible goals to games ratio...nearly a goal a game.

So how much do you think he would be worth today?
 
Good morning , he would costalot. One of my memories of Cloughie is him scoring , no , being credited with the goal at the Stoke end of the Victoria Ground whilst playing for 'Boro. He shot from around the right hand corner of the penalty area , I was in the paddock that day and in line with him and the far post. His shot was going just wide past the far post , when Robertson , our goalie , dived and managed to get a hand to the ball , and flick it into the net. Ah well , it does not hurt as much now as it did at the time.
