I was saying for a while we need to get more balls into him. We’re now doing that.

What a player this fella is, I have to be honest after his first few appearances I thought to myself that he'll be a good option but probably wouldn't be able to displace Wilson and we'd eventually have to look for better. I was very wrong, this guy is top notch, I've not seen a striker like him for a good few years, not only the physical strength but his ability to turn and explode, he does need to improve his touch but I guess that's why he is here and not at Real Madrid.

He's a beast! Defenders must hate going up against him. His control and awareness to bring the likes of Enzo and Habib into play must be testament to the coaching he's getting.

I've not seen a striker for us bully defenders like this since Kenwyne Jones - and he didn't do it anywhere near as consistently! What a player.
Loved Kenwyne who was great for us but Brobbery is a beast and must be a nightmare for ch’s.

As I said on other thread I think the strength and hold up play of Brobbery with Diarra running from midfield is going to be a real positive feature for us. Once they are fully fit and develop an understanding we are going to be difficult to play against.

I like Talbi who was excellent last night - hopefully the new lad and Mundle can really push on and when Traroe is back we will have some good options if they are all fit and firing.

Happy times.

️”He is so very strong. When he arrived here we went 1 v 1 in training and wow - it was so hard! I tried to kick him - he pushed me - it was war at the beginning and a shock to play against him!

“It’s not even about the gym - it’s a natural strength, a power that comes from within. He doesn’t do gym. In training he’s strong, but in the games, he changes completely. He puts something more into his strength! To have someone like him in our team is so good for Sunderland.”

Players who have been around and played against some good players seem in awe of his strength and thats like is said here in training where he probably doesnt go 100% all the time!

Turned up when he could be arsed. Good when he decided to try. Unfortunately that wasn't often enough.
All about opinions but I think this is utter nonsense. He wasn’t always at his very best but it wasn’t for lack of effort or because he was lazy, in fact before injury he worked his absolute bollocks off and after had to adjust his game a bit but certainly wasn’t lazy.

I thought he was one of the laziest players who’s played for us, loved him but he did my head in.
