    Re: your question on Johnson, the plan was always for a peerage to be offered to someone in a safe Tory seat (pretty much all of them now!), trigger a by-election and have Johnson in by end of January.

    I didn't know it was temporary which makes it far better I'll admit.

    I've made an effort to improve my manners on here, it would be nice if you did the same :emoticon-0148-yes:. When was the last time a Cabinet Minister position was filled by a non-MP? Genuine question on my part, I would assume it's pretty rare?

    Not desperate at all. I just want to know how you know they voted Labour.

    For the record, I thought it was a genuine question from you <ok>

    Very good point about manners as I thought the tone of his comment was on the rude side.

    And I guess you think they may have been Green as it was linked with the extinction rebellion lot.

    <ok>

    Cheers! I don't think they voted Green, I just associate their voters more with campaigning than other political parties, so that's all I was saying. Whereas JGF was saying matter-of-factly it was Labour! It doesn't matter anyway really.

    to answer your question …. I just want to know how you know they voted Labour? Well Besides doing loads of jobs and typing up articles for various projects I spend quite a lot of time monitoring tv, radio or news feeds … there was likely a mix of labour, greens and lib un dems .. most of the "mouth" was a labour activist?.. becrying labours demise at the hands of "that tory ****************** " list of " tory lies! etc" on one of the feeds. The media didn't give the march's much time so had no real impact value ……….. sour grapes comes to mind

    Thought Boris first speeches in parliament since the landslide have been excellent.

    Boris is good at making speeches , the trouble is the devil is in the detail , and unfortunately the detail isn’t Boris’ strong point.

    Boris does not use crip sheets, and the lack of detail can sometimes be annoying. However it sometimes is beneficial as to much detail often tends to erroneously repeated.
    Did you see Tony Bliar's speech today .. a deflection from him being one of the worst PM's ever for labour! at least JC never had the chance to build a bigger blackhole of our economy … also every sentence had glances at his crib sheets .. at times looked like a nodding donkey

    This guy if he can build the confidence off the North and get Brexit and the NHS and immigration under control will be a hero and could be in power for a very long time.

    Not a lie but he ruffles his hair and pulls his shirt out of his trousers before appearing in public. More of a pretence to try and give an image of something he is not

    I think the best campaigner for the Tories - which persuaded a lot of first time Tory voters - was Jeremy Corbyn himself.
    Perhaps Boris could make him campaign manager for the Conservative party!!!

    This was a deal in the making long before the General Election so cant blame it on the new government! Although I suspect it is a crumb the labour remnants will be turning into a few loaves and probably dream up something fishy to go with it …
    Its a massive company have places in Paris and Denmark pre 2012 used to take stuff from Filton/ Poole to them … doesn't seem a lot for what they have or do? Is it just 1 part of them or all parts of them?...
