Not sure why I landed on his Wikipedia page but I was curious to see what Brett Pitman was up to and spotted this in his stats

He obviously has a lot of love for Dorset and the West Country, so much so that he didn’t mind signing up to play for a half wit manager with the dregs of the football league at a tin pot club like the sag’s just to stay in that part of the country.

But I think either he himself, or some die hard Brett Pitman seems to have embellished his time at Swindon to a Wikipedia author.
 
I used to work with someone who knew him personally and said he was an absolute cock.
Allegedly of course - I’ve never met the guy and my colleague could be talking rubbish.
I think he was another in a long line of strikers (and other players) that we failed to get the best use from.
