I followed this in a fairly sporadiic way. Enjoyed the esrly goal, came back to find the Bees had equalised, and went off to play monopoly with my daughters. I flipped back on 82 minutes, and hey, ee're winning. So I stuck through to the end. Some of what I've read suggests the defence was still a bit haywire, but there is some spirit beginning to emerge after the dark days of Fraeye. Riga does seem to bring something out of players, and Mak, Fox and the Harriots all got mentions as solid performers. Saturday will be academic if we don't beat the Dons, and our home form is awfull. Still, it was nice to enjoy saturday night for a change.
Solly- no debate needed, one of only 2 consistent Championship level players this season, the other being Henderson. And he'll still be with us in L1 next season.
Terrific day out- first time I've seen us win since August It won't mean much for this season, but it's always great to experience a quality away day. Motta was MOTM, I really like the way he just runs with the ball, constantly drawing people. Sanogo has some sort of hero status, though must admit his two performances so far have been 10000x better than our dreadful strikers have been all year. Great movement, link up play and a general workhouse- vastly in contrast to Makienok who came on and floated around the pitch, as per. Even Fox was solid. Need to back it up on Tuesday now.
There are no boats available in Greenwich at present as they are all being used by the BB to try and stop the Club sinking like a stone
