No known manager will come here. The club is in a mess and the atmosphere is toxic.

How did Cattermole do? He was anonymous against QPR.

We came into this league at rock bottom and it's taking time to lift ourselves up. I'm seeing fight return to us and we're definitely harder to beat. Next step is remembering how to win a bloody game.

Thanks to the lads that posted links to the match stream :emoticon-0148-yes:

Thought we looked pretty dangerous going forward but theres no way we're going to start winning games defending like we are, we just give teams too many chances.

It's dissapointing to have not won after being 2 goals up at half time, but a point away from home to Brentfords not a bad result. The problem is how much we need a win and how much of an opportunity to get that we've wasted being 2 up today.

Comparing Lawrie Mac to Simon Grayson is well off the mark. Mac did not care one iota about SAFC. and proved it, a stinker if ever there was one.

Looks like Grayson cares about Sunderland. He's doing a cracking job. I hope he keeps it up.

Aye if you say so, you haven't even asked my views. Enjoy our demise, though I'm sure you'll revel in it.

Absolutely loving it. Anyway football, as it used to be, is more or less finished. All about the money now. Not long before it all comes crashing down

There's absolutely no logical argument to keep Grayson. 1 win 13 is shocking in the Premier league it's absolutely horrific at this level.

    Without even considering established managers;

Clarence Seedorf and Paul Scholes both interviewed for the Oldham job. Both would lift this place imo and bring an instant Keane effect. As would Ryan Giggs.

The "who would come here" argument is total bullshit

If either of them came I'd be bricking it because they don't know what they're doing. We don't need a big name to stroke our egos we need graft and time to gel.

That's nearly half the season. So 3 wins in 19 games and you'd be happy for him to crack on. You need at least 50 points just to stay in this league

But but it would bring media hype, never mind that neither of them would risk their entire career on their first job and that's if they're even affordable after paying of Grayson which Short won't do<laugh>

He is not doing badly considering the state the club is in, signs of improvement are there if you look for them, you obviously don't but that's your prerogative, but lets wait a little longer and give the man a chance, before going back to square one. <ok>

You'd think we'd been beaten 6-0 by some of these reactions. Disappointing how it happened but we got an away point against a team much more settled and confident than we are, which can only come with time which we haven't had yet.

We were 10 minutes or so from climbing out of the bottom 3. If that had happened everyone would've probably have been buzzing, with were on our way up comments.

We're not down yet by a long way.

Players are coming back and there definitely signs of improvement from a low baseline.

Unbeaten in 3, coming back from behind in 2 and 3 goals away. I think I'm right in saying that Brentfords recent form and home form are both pretty decent? So a good away point, unbeaten away and no major injuries today.

Asking for Grayson to go is just plain daft imho. Short won't pay for it and Grayson won't resign.
