KTF, annoying cliche but that's the closest we can come to optimism at the moment with becoming blinded so probably the most apt time to use it.
This is the real worry, in the past we have always hoped for a bit of team strengthening in the Jan. window, but that looks a no-no this season, unless Short has a change of mind (unlikely) or better still, finds a buyer with a bit of integrity.
I can feel a win coming. It might not be next week. It might not be the week after that. It might not be next month. It might not be this year. Hold on, where was I going with that...
The comeback F every negative fan “I’d rather be realistic” why is negativity perceived as realistic but positivity isn’t?
I skimmed and I agreed, and still do, that having a lead and blowing it remains a negative mate. I stand by that, I didn’t read the whole convo, I appreciate and admire people looking for positives in today, I do, but for all we scored 3 goals from the stats and from what I managed to catch we still looked utterly out of shape. My response to him stands, he’s right to hold negativity and concerns. As always I’ll be back next home game and backing the lads. Doesn’t hide that inside I feel detached and defeated about the current state of affairs. It will turn, I know it will. I had a meeting at work today with a fella from Leicester, he didn’t wanna talk business we just had him getting an hour long rant from me about how it’s all gone wrong since Keane. Fella was fascinated. For the record he signed up his 35 stores with us,
Where have I said it's positive? The discussion wasn't about looking for positives at any point, the discusion was about applying negatives to positives which you genrally don't do. He was putting us down when we scored and he was putting us down when we were winning, that's the point. I give up, I was backing you up btw as you clearly hadn't read further back. But by all means miss the point of the conversation you stepped in on. That's your bag.
and we've come from behind to earn those points too(Even if we did throw away 2 today). I checked the stats when the last time we did it twice after our last game, and it was once under Big Same since 2014. Comebacks haven't been our strong point for years so I take that as a positive too.
I may well have missed it, I don’t deny pal. What stands is that I agree there’s no shame in feeling a bit negative, a bit defeated at the state of play. If my comment was against the context of the convo in whole them so be it.
