    I'm quite pleased we have a large break before the Liverpool game. I need some time to mentally prepare myself to go sit and watch a club that I don’t like absolutely thrash us.

    Martin Atkinson obviously selected as an insurance if in the unlikely event of things not going Liverpool's way he can step in with a few, ahem, decisions.

    We'll get nothing from the Assistant VAR man either.

    League1-10 review:

    How familiar was that? Start the game reasonably well, conceded with the oppositions first attack, conceded again, 15 minutes gone game over. Oddly enough, if we had scored at any time between their second and third goals then it may well have been like the Brighton game last week where we came back and nick to draw but we didn’t deserve to, based on the 90 minutes. The game was finally put to bed with the Redmond assist for the third Brentford goal. They deserved the win and they were by far the better team which bearing in mind they aren’t actually that good, shows how bad we have become.It was another game where what we did in the penalty areas just wasn’t good enough to win a game of Premier League football. We had no real plan going forward and all the balls into the penalty area were hopeful rather than purposeful and the defending at the key moments was absolutely ****.All three of the goals conceded were **** and were too easy to score.
