Very much so. But he is young and inexperienced. The hope with him is that he'll grow. Whereas with Stephens and Bednarek (as with the likes of Armstrong and Aribo), we already know their ceiling. And it's too low.
Even Pep's teams go long when necessary. This is arrogance beyond belief from Martin. You can't just play possession football in the PL.
We struggled against a good press last year so obvious it would be an even bigger problem in a higher league.
