It'll be interesting whatever takes place in the match Today 1. Win and all the happy clappers will come out saying I told you so, acting spiritually superior, arguments will ensue, and the bedwetters will get arsy. 2. Lose and the bebwetters will continue to demonstrate why they have been right, say I told you so, rub it in, and the happy clappers will get shirty. 3. Draw and the battle lines will continue to be drawn out from both sets of delinquents and arguments will ensue. It's been the same **** for years... Everyone should be able to acknowledge each others opinions, but it's never going to happen. We all want a big win at the end of the day.. HOWAY THE LADS
I understand exactly how it works... Two to tango and all that.. Both sides are as daft as the other. Actually the bedwetters are beginning to look like they've read the situation better, at this point...really Newcastle need a win.
I just prefer to stay off the forum nowadays, unless it's prediction thread or general banter. The arguing **** is just tedious. And match day threads are the worst.
I think it's started already unfortunately. I was genuinely trying to demonstrate that there's no one faction that's right or wrong My bad
Well, I'd argue there's some clear psycho analysis in your post at 8:05 that indicates you clearly do favour one 'side' over the other. But luckily I'm not getting involved in arguing today.
Which part I sit flip flop depending on the evidence at the time.. This way I can always be accurate.
Good strategy. We have noticed. Anyone psycho analysing these two sentences on the pretence that they are a 'balanced' view would instantly pick up on the highlighted bits ad a clear and obvious bias in your view: "1. Win and all the happy clappers will come out saying I told you so, acting spiritually superior, arguments will ensue, and the bedwetters will get arsy." "2. Lose and the bebwetters will continue to demonstrate why they have been right, say I told you so, rub it in, and the happy clappers will get shirty." You may or may not intend it. But it's clear to anyone who reads those two sentences properly.
It's just what both factions do mate... I'm not taking sides it's just my observations and it's the harsh reality behind the arguments.
I'm not really out to say I told you so from any point of view, whether we win or lose. Surely just watching/enjoying the game is the main thing here rather than saying I told you so?
Exactly, but it happens unfortunately and it's coming from both sides. It's an observation, but just like dealing with two kids I'll get the 'it's him' or 'he made me do it' or 'they started it stuff', but it's the pair of them and who's right or wrong is irrelevant anyway. I'm not defending anyone or blaming anyone... I'm now blaming myself for trying to be reasonable and setting myself up for the mobs. It's always the peacemaker that gets hospitalised.
