If I'd said Eddie Howe or singled any specific individual out you could be forgiven. Ultimately Newcastle haven't unearthed anything, which was my first post on the subject and I stand by it. The suggestion we'd unearthed minteh isn't accurate imo. I ain't hugging I'm buying you a beer.
Yep, I agree with that. What I was challenging was the insunuation within your other posts that I quoted. But hey, you've now confirned you didn't mean Howe, so it's all good.
It's impossible like you say to know who let him get away. I knew we agreed... I'm blaming Snakescock and Dpp who've created this mess and then slipped away into the background.
It happens all the time on here.... Deflection! and the people deflecting on people while claiming people are deflecting.
Hey biatch... Me no slink off anywhere. Just think people have different opinions on what unearthing is. Doubt Charlie slinked off either, he's no GG
Unearthing" means finding something that was hidden, buried, or lost, either literally (like an artifact in the ground) or figuratively (like information, a secret, or a forgotten memory
For me we’ve been mostly crap with transfers since Howes nephew got promoted. It’s the only discernible thing I can see, anything else is guesswork as to why that’s the case. Comments from Howe this week on Wissa were concerning. He said he was bought to make a difference right now, implying Woltemade wouldn’t have played much, and that again we are incapable of finding continental players who can make a difference. It’s puzzling as every other PL club seems to be able to do it. I mean, Sunderland showed huge mettle today to draw deservedly with Arsenal, and only one of their players has PL experience. So it doesn’t add up to me and I don’t know about anyone else but Howe just seems really short on ideas and desperately risk-averse. Thiaw would still be warming the bench if not for the Schar concussion, something we witnessed ages ago when Hall was a last resort who then confirmed he was our best left back by a mile. What it leads to is continued reliance on old and worsening players, something he did at Bournemouth towards the end too so the precedent is there. Guesswork, but it’s educated guesswork. If tomorrow he keeps Burn in at either a) the expense of Hall, or b) as a back five then he will confirm for me that he’s just run out of ideas. I think when he first started he had fresh views he picked up from extended sessions with Simeone, but as the years have ticked on he hasn’t really evolved and isn’t showing signs that he’s going to which will mean we’ll just keep going backwards. I’m just concerned it’s going to be a wasted season and opportunity yet again.
Lose badly tomorrow and I think only the delusional will be peddling the we're only x amount of points off the top 4 noises. It's very simple! Lose tomorrow and we're trying to stay up and then fight for mid table at best imo.
I’m not one to moan, but paying for Sky Sports Premier League and then not being able to watch Newcastle because they’re on “Main Event” is ****ing greed to the extreme.
