That is hoping he hasn't fallen off the roof again, I would guess he is on a monumental bender and his mrs has locked him out.
Evening all. I still haven't watched any of the game, even the highlights, because I had to play in a golf team match and they had no one else. I told them on Monday that I wouldn't be able to concentrate and I was right. I had my arse kicked and caught the last 20 minutes on the BBC site score updates. I can't even imagine how many hairs have been pulled out and nails bitten but what a result! I can't believe we did it. Onwards and upwards. Phew!
Matt Fitzpatrick's caddie is a massive Leeds fan, how he is concentrating on the yardage etc is beyond me.
Struggling still to find words for today. Emotional rollercoaster. Four generations of us totally losing it incl my 89 year old dad. Lots of tears and snots everywhere. Horrid mess
I've been waiting for the news headlines of "Crazed Scotsman storms bridge of cruise liner and refuses to give up control of ship until the Captain uses radio to find out Leeds score"
Or how about tight scotsman has panic attacks waiting to hear Leeds result. Sources say there was sattelite coverage avaliable but he thought £5 for the week was expensive.
Morning for those of you who did not watch the game you should have. My stream was one of the worst ever but i kept getting it back eventually.we rode our luck early in the game and Llorente and Cooper made mistakes gifting possession to Brentford. But we kept trying and made our own luck and even the referee was even handed. I think we can truly state the players did care and ran brentford ragged at the end. So onward and let's sign some mids who can pass the ball. Why we did not pass the ball around more i don't know with only nine men to play against it should have been easy. I think we need a leader as no one in our midfield took charge. Kalvin i was hoping would but it's not in his character. Forshaw would have been ideal for the last 20 minutes. You can't blame bad luck on him and bamford as they are injured way too often.
I noticed a few complaints about KP yesterday, a few outlets made him mom and I thought he had a great game myself, yes a few mislaid passes but he still completed 92 successful ones and in the first 10 minutes he got a foot in and broke up Brentford possession four times. The gods were on our side, playing against 9 men at the end, we couldn’t have dreamed of that. Yesterday was a day to enjoy survival, we probably under estimate the pressure on those out there yesterday. I don’t think yesterday was a day to judge anyone as good or bad, looking at the season as a whole we all know we need some major changes. I’m pleased because if Marsch does screw up we will have learned a lesson, get rid of him before January and have a transfer window for the new guy to fix it. If he doesn’t screw up I hope we can rewind to last season and enjoy a mid table finish and lay a few solid foundations. The club are making the right noises, it seems like we have 2-3 signings already in advanced stages, I’m going to love no football for a while, I don’t want next season to start too soon, I just want to enjoy the break and get my blood pressure back down
Firpo was one player not affected by nerves. He’s always that useless. One of the worst players I’ve ever seen in a Leeds shirt. Get rid asap if we can.
