I got the impression from TC before the match and on the touchline that he was very anxious and lacking confidence, and this is how the team is playing. The solution is simple we need someone who can calm the anxiety and boost the confidence. The problem is finding such a man. The good news is that we have a good squad capable of playing good football.
He was a permanent fixture with Swansea before the injury I think. Doubt we’ll see him back unfortunately. Would sort the defensive problems certainly
I still think we have some talented players but something is definitely wrong and it's down to the manager, not getting the best out of them , Ayling was brilliant last season and now he's crap, jansson is not the same player we had last season so, its time to go TC, this ****e is unacceptable
W We do have some Olof but unfortunately we seem to have a few of the other kind Mixed in there too. You need quality in all area of the pitch and can’t carry passengers. We’re doing that in every game now.
He'd have changed the rules so you get 3 points for a loss and had Lonergans head chopped off for being a ****
You flatter us, we are only getting there, Millwall ARE crap mediocrity. Long way to go yet for us, but I agree progress is being made
You must have missed my post on Lasogga's stats a few days ago. Basically, until the last match there, he had a 55% scoring rate. If you subtracted his 5 penalties, Wood's 22 goals gave him a 50% scoring rate last season. Lasogga is also the Championship leader for shots on goal - and by a long way too. Basically, give Lasogga the right ball and he will score. What you don't do is pass to feet or hump the ball up the park & hope. He needs a ball into space, or a cross into the box. Yesterday, we managed 3 (awful) crosses in the first half (we managed 6 in the first 15 mins of the second half, btw!). Lonergan also launched every ball right up the middle of the park, leaving us fighting for the second ball almost every time. So we didn't give Lasogga ANY service at all. Second half, we played exactly the way Lasogga thrives on - lots of crosses, and the ball being played out from the back. But he wasn't there. We put the midget lightweight Ruth up there for the 'Lasogga game', and surprise, surprise, it didny work! Can Lasogga be blamed for this? As for Lonergan, the fans got what they asked for. What a nice surprise for them.
