My experience of keeping goal is very limited. We had a managers v staff game many, many years ago where I was working. The big game was scheduled for the Sunday so all us Managers turned up on the Tuesday for a training session. The staff team had the same idea so we decided on a practice match. It was a very exciting 5-4 to the staff. I was in goal and didn't do too bad considering. The game was different. We had a crowd, cheerleaders and a referee. Once we went 2-0 down my team decided on a 1-10 formation. We lost 9-0 and I think 7 of them were 1 or 2 on 1. I think the 7th was a penalty. It was the only time I managed to catch the player to bring him down there should have been at least another 2 pens and I should have been sent off several times. I might still have been better than Kiko though lol
I was listening to Durham on TS this evening. He was saying that Southgate should be considering Philips for England. I'm not trying to stir anything up, just reporting what he said in case you missed it.
