100s of players across the country are not being offered contracts, every owner must be as bad as ours then with your logic....

Our owners are ****s, you know this! I know this....99.9% of our support know this. But not every single instance of a player leaving us is their fault or becasue of bad management.

I’m not disagreeing, but in this instance I think it’s the state of the ownership rather than their heads being turned. The youngsters aren’t being lured to bigger clubs.

No your right, they are not being lured by bigger clubs, most are signing extensions with us when given the choice. Tymon listened to his agent and moved and by the looks of things Clark will do the same, neither of them are established pros by any means and at this stage of their careers need to be playing games to further their development, Tymon has gone backwards and Clark will do the same unless he plays games regularly.

Yes the clubs a mess but let's look at it from a different angle, I'm a young full back wanting to forge a career in pro football and are currently playing regularly at a club in the championship that I know almost certainly won't spend money in the summer to bring in a better player in my position, Ive been offered a 2/3yr deal that I can almost guarantee me playing a lot of first team football under a manager that wants me at the club......or I could move for potentially a little more money and no guarantee that I will get minutes on the pitch and my career my stall or go backwards.

I know what I would do

    There's the rub.

    'No-brainer' to supporters.

But to players, their agents and 'advisors' ££££ talks.

    The game is ****ed.

So then, ask yourself, why are these players not doing that? They aren't daft, Max isn't going to get paid more at a club like Forest or Millwall unless we don't offer him a decent enough deal. He's a Hull lad, he's been playing and what you said makes sense and I imagine that's what he's thinking, but he isn't going to accept if the deal isn't very good. And the reason the deal isn't very good is because the owners don't want to offer him a better one.

    Forest pay good money.
Forest maybe, could be all bullshit agent speak mind, want him as first choice left back and pay more. We, Adkins, sees him as a second choice here. So the money is lower, There's the difference

You think City have offered Clark a three year deal? Extremely unlikely I’d imagine.

Don't we do 2 with an option of a third usually?
