    Fu##ing HUGE result!

Performance not overly pretty again but by Christ did the boys dig in or what???

Brentford are a really decent side, very good going forward and will cause plenty of teams problems before the seasons end....

Let's hope QPR can do us another favour and burst Fulham's bubble on Saturday.

    Absolutely buzzing (sorry Bees)

    Im starting to believe.

If we get a win at derby we'll go into the international break in a superb position.

As you say sheepy, what a spirit. Getting a patched up squad performing that way it is a credit to the management team and the players themselves.
No superstars. No prima donnas. Players playing for each other and their manager.
    If you could bottle it........

Good result for Wolves tonight but I still think we can catch them.

At last the sky jinx broken!

For once had a great break; would have been a harsh penalty for handball but we went straight up the pitch to make it 2-1!

Still nervy right up to the death but fantastic result & performances all round!

Plus what a bonus at Villa Park!

    Thanks for the vid masky.

Great strike by bamba. Who was he crediting on the touchline?
How good is hoilett? Superb pass for the second and a good knock down for the third.
Couple good saves by etheridge. Sloppy play by grujic for their goal.
We need to sign another right back in the summer because there's no way Paterson will be going back there. He gets in some good positions.

    I just thought I might mention this. £30 invested - £60 returned.......<whistle><whistle>

Looked at the scorer odds before the game and Ken was offered at 6/4 for an anytime goal, but @ 6/1 for the first scorer - guess I got greedy. <doh>

Can’t you see what’s happening here Sparkey pal....they’re drawing you in and you’ll become obsessed! You might end up converting us all with these tales of riches beyond our dreams....I notice you can get good odds for a win at Derby! You could lose it all, your Merc, the lot! I could lose Doris, just imagine that? <laugh>

Brilliant win. Do the same at Derby and we can definitely believe. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Hell of a strike by Sol, some great saves by Etheridge. What a bargain signing!!! Paterson, another incredible signing for sod all money. Dead right he must stay in midfield. He provides an ability in the middle of the park I can't recall us having before.

    And Hoilett - words inadequate.

Thanks for the video clip Masky. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Sheepy can I have a point for Hoilett's assists please? :emoticon-0103-cool:

Agree Bluey - a brilliant performance as well as the win. The players you mentioned were immense, but I thought we missed Ralls in midfield big time - it was mostly hoofball over the top rather than playing through them which is the option Ralls provides.

One or two slightly worrying things though. Grujic looked as though he was struggling to know what to do with the ball on times - strong yes, but picking a pass was not his best trait last night. Damour tried hard but again was not influential in midfield. Only Patterson was on his game - hence the hoofball.

Yes Sparks, Ralls is a big miss and I don't see him coming back anytime soon so we don't have anyone doing the simple things in the middle - mark-tackle-be available for short passes from defence-hold and circulate the ball. All the hard yards stuff that goes under the radar.

When fully fit Bryson can do this and Gunnar might, I say might, be back for the run in. Until then we have to rely on Grujic who as we saw last night is open to errors.

D'Armour tries hard but his passing is wayward although what a ball through for that chance the keeper stopped from NML.

Paterson has been a superb signing and repaid his fee already. .

As someone has already said previously after Derby there is a break and we should get some players back. Bryson can't play at Derby anyway. Being purely selfish we could have done without Patterson getting the call up but great for the lad.
