That was not an easy game but we dominated and got the points. Maybe we should have had a 3rd, but let's not be greedy.
Cucurella MOM for me, just in front of Caisedo. What a couple of players, Cuckoo is like the Eveready Bunny absolutely non stop attack and defence. Caisedo just pure class and now our midfield rock. Couple of amazing saves from Sanchez and one heart stopping mistake. If he could get his feet to work ,a gem.
Hard work for Sancho and Madueke, but they both kept going and helped out. Tosin looked much better too.
Another step up, on on we go.

Only 2 points behind Liverpool now. Granted they still have a game in hand, but that now becomes a must win for them. How times change?! Unfathomable this time last season we could be sat where we are.

I'm still not convinced we are title ready yet. Having said that, if everyone keeps making mistakes and we keep plugging along, then why can't we snatch it? The team are pretty fearless at the moment knowing it's not expected of them to win the league.

Same issues keep showing up though, so I think it's pretty clear that we need additional support in key areas. Having said that, there doesn't appear to be too many top teams left to be able to take advantage of said weaknesses. Maybe it'll be alright?

A good win against a tough opponent. Brentford have a good record at our gaff and it was nice to record a W there for once.
Jackson should have had at least one more goal too, missed a sitter.
Cucurella was great, Caicedo was immense.#
The only downside is that we again failed to keep a clean sheet, concentration lapsing again right at the end, just like against Spurs.
Luckily the late goals we are conceding dont seem to be altering the results too much, but its a habit we need to get out of.

Great weekend, with Pool, Arsenal and City all dropping points.
Still not convinced we have the minerals for a title charge, but the longer we can stay up there, the better the chance we have of finishing high.
