Good pro performance today, a good win. Grabbed the first goal off the mistakes in a 1st half we were beaten overall, 2nd half we were excellent.

I didn't notice any anti BWPing, he hasn't been on top form last few weeks, but you can't drop him has he'll turn the defender and score a big winner etc.

Pritchard was excellent as expected to a degree. Very very pleased

Bradley Pritchard was excellent, you would never have guessed he was a Non-League player only last season (must have ripped apart the Conference.)

Thought he was very much like a little pitbull running around, tons of energy and forever making a nuisance of himself.

Thank you Ephraim and Russell but you can return from whence you came now

Not an overly impressive performance to be honest, that's twice now Brentford have had the better of the game against us but we've come away with the points. Douglas looked impressive for them in midfield but their forwards aren't up to much, luckily for us.

We need to wary of not being too easy on Pritchard just because he has come from non-league football but he did nothing wrong today, he's definitely got a good footballing brain. If he stays in the team we need to work out whether it's he or Hollands who is the defensive midfielder though, not sure who was supposed to play that role today.

Green was a little frustrating with his attempts at the Beckham-esque long balls and poor delivery but he took his goal brilliantly.

Hamer punched at a couple of crosses he might have caught but was otherwise fine.

Cort doesn't inspire as much confidence as Taylor but he did OK, good to know that we're not totally dependent on Taylor and Morrison.

It's just not happening for BWP at the moment, he really needs a goal.

Clarke looked ponderous but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Workmanlike display, we still haven't recaptured our style of the first few months of the season but as long as we keep getting wins it doesn't matter.

Was it 1st v 2nd when we played Sheff U last time?

Clarke only had a few mins game time and he`s never gonna out pace anyone though reasonably qiuck for his size.
He`ll be a good addition from the bench....so was Taylor injured today or just dropped to the bench though being on the bench means he cant of been injured.
Pritchard deffo deserved his chance and took it too

Certainly not dropped. Rested, maybe for a slight knock or twinge which wouldn't have stopped him coming on if needed. Cort did well. You can't expect him to look as comfortable in the CB partnership as Taylor after only one game. CP needed to try him out now in case needed for our more vital games against the Sheffields.

Spot on on all counts!! Except perhaps Green, thought he was the weakest link until his goal. Kermit is heading for Player of the Year at this rate, he was unreal today, both attacking and defending. Morrison was a colossus.

Only real down side was the 2 1/2 hour journeys both ways from Reading... damn Hammersmith Flyover work... I was glad for the 15 minute delay, though... I only missed kick off by 5 minutes!!

No. I don't know why they're playing midweek, but there you go.

    My moots -

Pritchard and The Kerminator (I should copyright that one!) were the best two for me.

Cort is a more than able deputy for the centre-back positions.

Glad that the loan signings have gone and we can get the best out of the squad we have.

I have recruited another young Addick today - my brother-in-law.

Loved the way CP was with the little mascots - they will cherish those memories forever.

    COYR!
