What has the money you get for finishing 2nd got to do with anything, that is totally irrelevant. We I'm sure would have earnt more money than Liverpool last season, hence why we can go out and spend 150 million on players, and pay them all bucket loads. We have better sponsors than Liverpool, more supporters, and a bigger and better ground. So if you want to use earnings as part of your argument, then your sadly mistaken. The community shield is better than winning nothing, that's really all there is to it
I bet you'd swap that 50p for a CL spot though? Seriously though I've said previously that winning trophies is what we as supporters should always want, yes the finances involved with the CL are important but you wont ever see me jumping around celebrating 4th. The 50p thing would be taking that too far though. And brod does look like mighty red, very funny.
