In risk of facing the GMF wrath, I'm inclined to agree with this comment. Same goes for one or two others too <ok>

I think people need to remember this a documentary. Everyone involved will be fully aware that the cameras are running and I am pretty certain the will be 'stop filming' shouts at times. I'm convinced that most, if not all, of the speeches are for the camera. The real stuff won't be aired!

I think people have too much of an imagination as to what goes on behind the scenes to think that this won't be it, and there will be more and more impressive stuff going on. I don't I think this is it. You have to remember that these football people are like actors, yes they are famous and rich, but they are the failures in life, they were never going to be doctors, solicitors or engineers. It was this or being a brickie.

I think everyone projects on to their clubs what they imagine goes on behind closed doors, and with all the talking up of Brendan and his systems, and his big thick manual, that he is doing dead scientific stuff that would impress us all. I really think we are getting the real deal on the show. I think his bullshit is as good as it gets, but he is dealing with total cabbage heads like Hendo, who is still asking "What's an envelope?"

I don't think there is some super sci-tech approach going off behind the scenes, I just think that everyone will be very aware of the cameras and will be acting differently. There is a reason we don't see any tactical discussions, there is no way the club is going to allow anything that will bring bad publicity and the TV agreement was in place before Rodgers became manager, I'm pretty sure he would have put conditions in place before agreeing to a contract. Are you seriously telling me that everything has been nice and rosey whilst the cameras have been running...? How come we have not seen anything of the departing players? (by which, I mean the details of them leaving like we have seen Borini and Allen arrive)

As I said before watching a second of it, it will all be edited to ensure the club is portrayed in the correct light. I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't be aired should Rodgers feel the need to dish out a dressing room bollocking, especially if he should chose to throw a chair across the room or something!
 
So far, from what I've seen (I haven't yet watched the latest episode), the programme appears to be no more than a puff-an advertisement for the club by way of a bit of light entertainment for the US market. I can't really work myself up wondering whether or not this is really the full story of what's going on behind the scenes.
It may get a bit dirtier as time goes on but we'll have to wait and see.

On another note, I know a few of us weren't keen on BR getting the job in the first place- but he got it, so why not give him a chance?
I can't see the point of wanting your team to fail just so you can say "I told you so".
 
It'll be something along the following: BR holds a conference with the players where he discusses the details and the tactics and who's not doing their part and how to change it.

Then the cameras come in and say "hey we need a shot of this" - so he switches to a new age light fluffy speech designed for US audiences to understand. The cameras get half an hour of footage, leave, and the door is shut. The players and Brendan have a laugh about the show and then he goes back to bollocking them over possession lost in the 53rd minute of the last game etc.

I don't look into it too much and the whole envelope thing can't be too bad. Those who are trying know they aren't there, and keep trying. Those who know they haven't been up to it will take it to mean they have to improve. Those who don't want to improve and criticize the comments will be sold. Win win.
 
Woeful psyhcological bullying , cringeworthy and if my boss did that he would be laughed at and there would be no respect shown , he has made himself into a "do i not like that" or "wally with a brolley" .

thanks guys for all the well wishing (is that a real word)
. had spinal fusion and spinal decompression surgery. very painful sitting now but am much better than i was before the operation. wont give details of the surgery in case some of you may be squeamish. just google spinal fusion and decompression and you will see what its all about

If my boss did it I'd be worried. There's only 3 of us in his department.... including him
