It's impossible to tell whether a player that's never played for us would have made a difference in one particular match. If he was at his best he may have made a difference. If he was having an off-day, then he might have made things worse. I can't see the point of such a hypothetical debate. You may as well debate whether it would have mad a difference if we had bought Rooney. We don't have either, so the debate is a bit pointless. I'm sure BR is working very hard on this.

Very true. Most fans think along the lines of Fantasy Football though and only want players they have heard of.
I think we have had enough of well known players like lita and routledge , they may come good for us ? But I prefer to bring people in like vorm or caulker to be honest
