Not that i,m the arguementative type but i dont think we should have a sticky thread on a previous manager,This is a Swansea board and if people feel they need to comment on his progress i,m sure they would be welcomed over on the Liverpool board..

Daiswan didn't want a sticky for his article , he just didn't want it deleted .. your losing the plot of just what happened here . Seen lots of threads go by about other teams ( look ay norways about Cardiff ) without a thought of deletion ... sorry but this was a witch hunt , pure & simple !!

 

I gave my word to Dai I would temporarily stick this.

 

No witch hunt,the thread was ill conceived,and whilst not maliciously intended,did not take into account the strong feelings that Rodgers had engendered amongst many regulars on here.

Since Liverpool has it's own Forum,this was not the correct venue for such a thread at the best of times,but in the present climate it was always going to be controversial.

Wrong Club,wrong Forum,wrong choice. Sorry Dai.

 

Breezy, you seem to know a lot about this forum and the mods for a newbie, I haven't seen Dai be called Daiswan since the old 606 and you seem to have the same writing style as him. Coincidence?

 

I'm Crackerjack anew SA ! . That's a cop out vetch , just because you say it's ill conceived , doesn't make it true , it just means you said it . Just because some regulars got there nose out of joint , doesn't make the article grounds for deletion . There are tons of articles on our board & other boards about other teams , it is just a poor excuse for a few to push there agenda against another poster . You'll have to search for a good reason for deleting the article in the first place , a reason that doesn't exist IMO . Sorry to bother on this thread & I'll try not to upset anyone else as I feel like an outsider already here ... cheers

Just for the record breezy,I didn't ask for the article to be deleted.
I initially queried why it was placed on our Forum when the content was 100% Liverpool.
A furore built up,and some wanted it removed.
I suggested it be transfered to the Liverpool Forum.
So,I don't see where the "cop out" comes from.
If you are unable to see why the article caused such an upset,well,perhaps it's you that are guilty of a "cop out".
I have given an opinion,and at no time infered that I was in the right,or that my posts were "true".
Why do you feel like an outsider?
You are the reincarnation of BBC606 Breezy,are you not?
If so,then you are as much a part of this Forum as anyone else.
You are entitled to your opinions,but that doesn't make you right,either.

Hey, Breezy, I agree with Vetch, you are one of us. No way are you an outsider. Well, maybe in a geographical sense but that doesn't count.....

 

cant understand where all this bad feeling for brenda comes from, ok he left the club and that hurt, he took allen that hurt even more but we where well compensated to the tune of 22 million effectively buying us all the players we are all raving about today. i personally would like to thank the man heartily for getting us to the premier lge keeping us here for another season and for the finances to help build the squad we have today. as for liverpool heres one jack who will be watching them with added interest this season to see how joe and brenda fair at a big club. its about time some people looked at the bigger picture at what has happened to our beloved little club this last few months, we are looking stronger than ever and i dont think we would be feeling this good about ourselves if brenda had stayed. so all the best mr rodgers and a mighty big thank you from me.

Now can we please let this Liverpool crap slip away where it belongs? No offence but massive changes are happening at our Club right now. Those that are gone have all made a contribution, some more than others, but they are no longer a part of us. Let it go and get behind our manager and our team. STID!

So there we have it, my point is made and proven that my thread and any other football related thread should not be deleted.....and for the ones that said mine was are probably the same ones who thought that it was ok to comment when brendan got stuffed by WBA in the first game......Im interested in what any of our ex managers and players do at their new clubs and when martinez moved on we were awash on how wigan were doing....so point proven that if you want to respond or ignore then no post should be removed....you have a choice.....thank you breezy for your support and some others who can see what i was angry about...

 

just one other point. If you want to delete posts then this one is a classic one to delete that goes on much to often with me sometimes the culprit....this is uncalled for and where the mods should concentrate on removing and not football related threads.......READ and see if you agree that it should be deleted.....poster was stumpy...
