And if it was any of those managers you named valley that took over for Curtis , it would be them I'd want to stick with ....follow .

If it was one of those managers, everyone would as they are far better and more exciting than Guido.
Any of those managers up for the Italy job ....twice .
Any of those managers take a small club in Italy , his last gig , and give them 3 of the best seasons they have ever had in their history .
Your sh:tting on a guy with substance , without any substance to do so based , on a handful of games .
I do however , feel the better part of the Swansea faithful will get their way and run Guido out of town , which considering the general reception he's getting , probably won't bother him to much and he'll will be sorry he came .
I for one , will be sorry he wasn't given a chance by short sighted , to big for their britches , thinking they deserve better knee jerkers .

Many on here, on other forums, as well as in the Media are saying that the Swans need to strengthen for next season:
1 if not 2 full backs
Another CB - Bartley is not good enough
A "Joe Allen" type of midfielder
1 if not 2 wingers
A striker
That makes 5 - 7 additions
As for the exit door, Bartley, Ki, Tabanou, Eder, Gomis, (possibly) Montero
That is wholesale changes, not "entire".
I agree that Guidolin has a good track record.
However, the guy is 60, has suffered from ill-health whilst being here. Additionally, didn't he leave his last full-time job because of stress? Perhaps this was one of the factors which led to Guido and Huw agreeing to a short-term contract until the end of the season?
Exactly, Taff. Guidolin wouldn't be 'run out of town' at all. He would have fulfilled his obligations to us and that's that. Both parties agreed to a short-term contract, clearly because he has his eye on other things (don't blame him for that) and we have our eye and a long term successor.
But wanting to offer someone a long-term contract when we've been playing so poorly under his tenure seems daft to me.

I've actually had some conversations with turnips when I used to visit the Cardiff Board.

Rogers would`nt just be able to turnip and everything will go smoothly as it would be for any new guys that want a turn here, he would need to start us back up again from where we lost our way a couple of years ago ? and rebuild with new players that can play the way we used to, so has he still got those types available and still in his phone book ? It could take a big chunk of the season before things click but its a very unforgiving league so would we have time for another rebuild/overhaul with anything other than a top longer established manager at the helm if any are available to us ?
Rodgers was handed a pretty good team when he came to use , a pretty good team after us too .
Previous to coming to us , he was mediocre at best with Watford and Reading .
He brought in Routledge and didn't know what to do with him , but Laudrup sure did .
Rodgers would more than have his hands full trying to rebuild us from summer on ,compared to his last gig with us with this team and some transfers .No easy street this time .maybe if he took the job in Jan his chances would have been better .
Rodgers is a no for me .
The thing is roof Guildo was appointed as a stop gap in place of curtis and quite frankly Curtis has done most of the work since he has been here and that to me is Guildo has been a waste of money and reeks of a panic appointment that really was not necessary. I know it is not 100% yet that we are safe but i cant see any of those teams below us going on a winning run...well not all of them anyway and we are 95% safe and a point at stoke will seal it imo........We cant get away from the fact that the club from boardroom to players has not performed to the standard everyone knows we can and where Leicester city has shocked everyone by their performance this season then at the same time people are surprised how under performed we have done especially after the season we had before, .So its obvious we have lost our way and we need someone to come in and get us back on track and if i had to chose between Guildo or Brendan then i would not be questioning it....It has to be Brendan.....

He took advantage of the position we offered him and then moved "up to the next tier". To those at the highest level he was found wanting and they dispensed with his services. He will be with a Club that needs re-building. We will have no European football.
After managing a team to nearly winning the Premiership title and competing in the Champions League, getting out of bed on a cold December morning for training at Fairwood may not be much of a mental challenge any more. It will be a tough task for Rodgers to motivate his mind when success would be regarded as finishing in the top 10 and, although he would never admit it, this may sub-conciously rub off on the players.
I've nothing against Rodgers, but I never really like managers going back to their old clubs.
