    I agree with all the the above sentiments, and I also feel that a good degree of inter-club banter is healthy as long as it's constructive in some way. It's good that we can all interact on eachothers threads, it's one of the features of not606 that makes it unique. But what has gone on above is quite simply embarrassing and dosen't represent the majority of posters ( whoever they support. ) on here. I think we should ignore it this time, but any future episodes featuring the same posters should be reported.
    Remember we all come on here for entertainment and thought provoking insight ( as well as the jolly one - upmanship. ) Let's not let it descend into childlike bickering. :emoticon-0148-yes:

    The point about Blackburn and Bolton going down being good for this Site is good thinkin' Nines. Their boards were dead as door nails.

    I must say, I do prefer our Mod's Kay Sera approach than the Norwich boards style of shut it now, ask questions later. To be fair to their Mod, its not his fault. I got a very nice PM from him last week and it seems hes plagued day and night by his own members shouting and roaring about some thread or other and demanding its closure.

    Our lot on here seem to be a bit more relaxed, save a few cranks that can't wait to get offended over summat.

    Embarrassing is right. <ok>

    Check out the thread on the Swans' board going back a few weeks. The bickering is provoked and a pattern is establishing itself. For what reason I'm not sure. Banter, the arguing on the rights and wrongs of a game, are all well and good. I like all of this. You throw your opinions, your beliefs, out there and see what comes back. This thread, and the thread on the Swans' board, go beyond that. Pure malice if you ask me. Just another internet warrior out for a rise. Again, it's about what we all want this place to be.

    I don't think people necessarily go on the net to get offended. The anonymity that the whole experience provides ups the ante imo. You can say what you want, within reason, online and never face the consequences. The wums who'd never say it to your face IRL can say it all here. And I'm not talking about your pantomime villainy (sorry <laugh>). It's up to us to make this a decent place to visit when we're off the clock. This SBNo10 character with his sick posts isn't somebody I want to read when I step off the treadmill.

    I'm sure they'll have been alerted. Brix and Goldie are pretty chilled out mods who will sit back and make a calm adjusted assesment and then decide what the best way forward is. No knee jerk re-action, just the right decision. Brix and Hawkster are sound men. We're lucky to have them.

    The idea that DT renamed himself as Swords Hoppster was a stroke of genius. I even had to do a double take as to what was was posted still makes me laugh out loud...lol.
    As for the Liverpool bit.... How funny is that? Brilliant!
