Fair comment. KLD and Speakman will make their own judgement. We employed Mowbray to get us out of L1 and stabilise us in Championship bringing on the youngsters. Cannot fault the job he has done so far. Next year if he takes us up is also his audition to manage us in the premiership. If it’s a struggle via the playoffs there is a question to be asked. If it’s done with swagger and style playing quality football then can’t deny him the opportunity.

Rodgers is a very good coach. Spurs next is likely, at least according to the coaching rumour mill. Would be an excellent fit there as well and would back him to get them moving again.

Thinking he would come here is mad. His salary is way beyond us I bet. Mind you, Mowbray is perfect fit right now, and will be next season too, so no need to even think about a change. How utterly refreshing that is. Mowbray is perfect for the young squad, nobody better.

He'll strole into West Ham or Crystal Palace if they stay up. Possibly Brighton because I can see someone snapping their manager up. Unless Chelsea and Brighton swap managers that is. Spurs?

Absolutely no need to be looking to replace Mowbray. Done an excellent job with the injuries he's had to contend with at a newly promoted team. If Stewart was fit all season I think we would comfortably be in the play off positions.

Plus Rodgers wouldn't drop to the championship, he'll get another Premier league job.

I have a dislike of most pundits because I think they are pretendy coaches who cant do the job. Carragher is the worst of the lot. I would cross the road to tell him exactly what I thought of him and his behaviour on air. I find him utterly hopeless I am afraid and the affair you refer to should have seen him sacked never to be seen again. Despicable.
