Giuseppe Rossi? Yeah he'll be poached I reckon, or do you mean Nilmar?

Talking of La Liga, what do people think of Athletico Madrid's striker Falcao. Not saying he should be a Norwich target as he will be well out of our price range, but personally I would like to see him in the Premier League.

    Yeah I meant Rossi :emoticon-0148-yes:

Falcao is awesome, his goal in the UEFA cup final was ridiculous. There were rumours of him going to Chelsea or City (gives you an idea of price range...)

Spurs missed and out and out goalscorer last season and this guy is a goal machine. He would be my #1 target if I were AVB and remember Falcao played under him at Porto so wouldn't be surprised if that tempted him. He scored a couple of incredible goals as well. Great striker

Agreed that goal was great. People say he's supposed to be good with his head. Don't know if it's because he's or because he actually is good at headers.

Can't say I've watched much La Liga, but he was by far the best player on the pitch in the UEFA cup games I watched

I can't speak for all swans fans but yeah, rodgers really is pissing me off! Telling the media that if sig doesn't sign for swans he would be interested... Then telling them if swans players were to come on the market then he would be interested - which basically means hand in your transfer request and I'll sign you. The man has 0 integrity.

As for allens price of 15-20m, yeah, we're basically using the Liverpool going rate which makes it about right for them. He is only 22 aswell and was one of our best players last season.

And before gylfi we didn't really have anyone in that position. It was Allen who was moved more forward with Britton and gower behind him. Augustine played a few until he got injured. Dobbie only appeared in 2 games all season, bodde didn't play at all. Hope that clears it up <ok> But thanks for the general sentiments, very refreshing to hear other fans share my attitude on this.

Nice one, what do you make of Bodde and Augestine?

Bodde looks handy whenever I have seen him play but has been plagued with injuries right? and Augestine doesn't look any good to me?

Obviously you'll know more about them than me, so what's your take on them two?

good luck with season anyway <ok>

Bodde was the best player I have ever seen put on a swans shirt imo. Done his cruciate against Birmingham in 2008, had a year out injured. Done it again on his return game after 18 mins, spent another year and a half out, done it again then on his second come back but apparently he didn't need surgery, then was told over a year later he needed another op. got released this summer and has now signed for den Haag where we bought him from. Shame.

Augustine is a good backup player, very strong in the challenges, good in the air and can pick a pass. The only thing that lets him down is his attitude (I'm guessing) as managers always seem to drop him for no apparent reason.
Good luck to you guys also! <ok>

Bodde didn't play a single game, McEachran got 1 start and came off rather sharpish. Allen will be a miss but it's down to his buy out clause, that is about £15m I believe, if Liverpool want him they pay that it's that simple. But I don't think he'll go his missus is about to have a baby she wants it here and wants to be around her family.
