Shola, Gouffran, Anita and Marveaux are first team players and you reckon you don't need anyone ........ 01 Krul 02 Coloccini 03 Santon 13 Yanga-M'Biwa 26 Debuchy 07 Sissoko 08 Anita (Cabaye - 65' Booked ) 10 Ben Arfa Booked 22 Marveaux (Remy - 74' ) 09 Cisse 23 Sh Ameobi (Gouffran - 65' )
I'm not so sure your squad's that strong. Your first team is (assuming they don't go awol), but squad? Not that deep IMHO. You don't have the Europa distraction this time round, but Cabaye wanted out, ditto Collocini before him and Tiote wasn't the same player last season.
No you were not but your bell end DoF was telling anyone who could be arsed to listen to his ****e that he could pick the phone up to any manager in the world so what happened? Did his phone credit run out this month before deadline day? FFS he even announced he had moved up here for the week to see out the last few days activity? What the **** for, another holiday? He has actually spent more on his Costa del Jollies this summer than on players for Agent Ashley.
But the bestest and hardest midfielder in the World Tiote isn't on that list? Oh wait..................he is actually ****.
Players dont turn ****e overnight, but a change in tactics can render a team ****e that quick. Colos actually been solid since being paired with Mbiwa, Santon is looking like the player we know he can be and even Debuchy is starting to look a bit more reassured in defence after the Man C nightmare. Cabaye and Remy coming on changed the Fulham game completly so there is still quality there. Early days but the performances against West Ham and Fulham lead me to believe Pardew may have learned from at least a few of his mistakes.
