Good decision! Yes he has been playing well this season, but I think that is down to the 'Brown factor', I can see him having a similar stabilising effect on Turner and/or Bramble. No way was Bruce going to keep this lot happy in the reserves so one going is not a hardship to us. O'Shea can play there too and Young Laing will feature more and more in the coming seasons.

More importantly it frees up £40k per week to the wage bill -Bruce's main target- to pay for the in-coming signings.

Even better decision if its £4m being quoted!

I dont think they are that rich, the owner paid 100 million for them, but his net worth is only 300 million, its not bernie and flavio anymore

This. QPR are not the flamboyant millionaires club they were 2 years ago and I think they are financially stretched these days. Look, we got Wes Brown for 1m and are selling Anton for 1m.

You all tell me what the best deal was out of those two?

This is spot on and he is on 40k a week. He has made an ok start to the season but how many chances has Anton had at the club. He isn't consistent enough.

I don't see any gain for us in selling Anton.

Seems a daft sale, he's good to have in the squad, unless it's £5million plus, then it is probably a wee bit justified.

We have Turner, Bramble, Brown, O'shea and Laing to play Centre back. I agree Ferd has played well so far this season, but his 40k+ a week wages can be put in good use on sombody else!

I would have no hesitation in getting rid of him - always nervous when he pulls the shirt on, he never seems to dominate his opponent. Too many chances simply not consistent enough.
