Personally I wouldn't be particularly happy with Lee Clark either. I know the allams are saying it was because of what nick said in the press, but i reckon his sacking was partly 4 not finishing in playoffs. With Clark having no champ experience and not achieveing promotion with udders, albeit he wasn't given the chance 2nd time there's no track record of success. The only appt I can see pleasing the majority of fans is an experienced champ manager who isn't megson.
There's no doubt that Brownies return would divide the fans, half would be ecstatic, the other half would be pissed off. The appointment of Megson would get round that, by simply pissing absolutely everyone off. I can't believe even the Allam's are that ****ing clueless about football(I typed that with my fingers crossed).
If you get Gary Megson then you wont threaten the top half next season. He plays boring football with defensive formations, you couldnt find a worse manager if you tried. Out of interest is there anyone at board level for you who actually understands football now Adam Pearson has left?
Probably not, though we have no real idea who's advising who at the moment. I still think it will be Clark, though there is a chance that the two first team coaches are telling the Allam's to go for Megson, as they know they're getting sacked next week anyway and they want to make sure they get the windows done in on his Rolls before they go.
Arsenal announce open top bus parade to celebrate Drogba leaving Chelsea and the Premier League. ARF!
I'm just getting ready for my school prom, I rang my mate Ehab to ask if the lift was still on as I had something to ask him, a bloke called Gary answered and told me to **** off. Guess I'll have to walk.
I don't want to sound like a tit here but I'll go because of hull city regardless of manager. Even if Barry chuckle was in charge.
I still think Lee Clark is the best of the options so far. We need someone who is hungry for success, not the usual suspects who get passed from club to club in search of their next pay packet. We aren't going to get McCarthy or Davies, Bruce is a mercenary after a bit of cash before the next Prem job comes along, Phil Brown failed at Preston, Megson doesn't even cast a shadow and Blackwell would struggle to get a job in Scotland. The only thing that goes against Clark is what the Huddersfield fans have said and although that does worry me he still looks better than the rest.
No definately not so. Take from me that the Allems know exactly what they are doing, they're going to give Nick a nervous break down then say "he can't come back, as we wanted him to, because of ill health, Poor Nick" now every-one will be on their side for looking after him.
Gareth Bale has asked Tottenham to listen to offers for him this summer. Chester Zoo are thought to be favourites for his signature #Chimp Twitter is going footy gag mad tonight.
Not agreed with a lot of your posts recently but this is spot on. I think McCarthy, Davies and Bruce would be great signings but we just won't get them unfortnately. I like Lee Clark, i think he is ahead of Nick in his football managerial career, but is still 'young and up and coming'. I would prfer Greg Abboy, as i think he has more connections, more experience and i think he is a great manager but that seems unlikely now. Gary Megson would just bring negativity to the atmosphere at the KC, we would be isntantly calling for him and calling for a new manager, we need someone who will unite us all, which is why Phil Brown isn't an option for me.
not that i want megson to be manager but that is a bit of a daft statement considering he made the playoff final with wba then won the league the following season
