Whilst we all complain about the current Madrid style of player recruitment Arsenal and Spurs haven't done too badly. £115m for Bale and Modrid -£8m for Van Der Vaart £20 something million for Anelka £40 odd million for a player that is tailor made for their football and is now taking them to the next level. They can only be mugged off by us so many times surely! Maybe us getting results with every player seemingly under performing is our way of stopping Madrid nicking our players!
