Absolutely. It was cringeworthy and embarrassing watching Carragher and Neville claiming they didn't care what Sky thought and that they were going to speak their minds. Sky would have sent them out to talk like that because they stood to confe ot of it as massive losers!
yes but my point was not that they did not breach the rule but that there is no guideline or punihsment defined. Any punishment thats dreamed up now is open to legal challenge as a result. for example city and cheslea will play the "please sir the big boys made us" card.
any club can compete in any tournament in the summer. (it seems) once league fixtures are known then clubs have to abide by them. It reads a catch all rule without any thought as to what would happen if half the league ****ed off to play in a ESL.
No, I think they were being genuine apart from when they said "Sky might not like it". Sky would have 100% wanted them to slate the ESL idea
Not being funny, but you patently don’t know what the protocols are for serious breaches of the rules of membership.
Didn't enter or play in it. Attempted to establish it for the future and it didn't happen. Reading that though, do clubs have to ask permission to play in the Super Cup and World Club Cup? Weird.
Anybody think we may get a transfer ban? Ironically, the owners would love that. Anything that saves them having to spend.
How much did that Go Fund Me page raise for MBappe? I reckon you might be needing it, plus about another £129,995,000 https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/s...ED-revealing-clubs-pulling-face-130m-fee.html
Not really, the reason being the offense has nothing to do with trading players The only clubs to get transfer band get handed them by fifa or uefa for dodgy trading on kids or players
BT too then. My point is that they would be all over a lucrative deal with big money involved but have come out as though they are in full support of how things are. Just political bullshit to not appear as bad
Good, there needs to be punishments all round. Although this has a long way to go and play out, I'm sure everyone's lawyers will have their say.
