I have to say nominating Mark Gretton to do it was a good move, bit of fun and showed hopefully they can move on. On Dawson signing, that is a great signing at 3M, exactly what we need with his experience alongside Davies and Chester in a back three.
He's actually the cousin of Gollom Lloyd, thought you'd have realised that due to his lack of presentation skills. Thanks to all the Spurs fans that have posted, it's nice to have opposing fans coming on and not slating their player that's moved on. In saying that I can fully understand that if Michael is anything like his brother Andy, who's a top, top, bloke!
Great that we can attract this quality of player and man. I think we will see Centre-backs venturing forth a tad more.
I'll pass the offer on to Levy and get back to you. You'd probably be best saving that money and buying the United squad for half that though.
The Ice bucket challenge and the good comments from the Spurs lads are huge positives in the life and times of Hull City AFC. Good on you Ehab, credit where it's due. The Spurs lads are quality, but not unexpected.
I'm hoping we keep that as his chant, in a friendly banter kind of way of course. To me it represents our Northern humour pretty well.
How about "You're just a class Andy Dawson"? References the old chant but makes it a bit more friendly.
Bit late but welcome Michael. I was always a huge fan of Andy (Viggo Jensen reincarnated). A real warrior and gave everything for the shirt. Michael is a chip off the old block. What a back four Brucie has put together...Greegsy, Chezzie, Michael, and Curtis. Not sure theres a better in the Prem...and hardly cost us 10 mill. combined. Got to laugh at what the Dramas have spent on those slugs Ferdinand and Caulker. They are doomed with that back line. Oh...and thank you Spurs!!
Telegraph says we paid £6m for Michael Dawson. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-Federico-Fazio-for-8m-on-four-year-deal.html Spurs have clinched the signing of the central defender from Sevilla, with Michael Dawson heading to Hull in a deal worth £6m.
