A couple of butchers sausages, thick cut smoked back bacon, a free range fried egg, sliced mushrooms, beans, fried tomato and a stack of thick cut slightly overdone toast with butter and a large mug of strong tea. Lovely stuff Only have one every few weeks on a Sunday morning and I try and ease the guilt by doing half an hour or so in the garden while the better half prepares it.
I never understood the fascination with tomatos and mushrooms at breakfast. Mushrooms, I can kinda understand but tomatoes?? Far too healthy to be on my plate
I think toms help you to digest the bacon, well so I was told. Bean are also classed as one of your 5 a day.....but not mushrooms freid in butter.....totally unhealthy. And it should always be a squirt of this on the side...... please log in to view this image Beacause ketchup is fruit!
Bacon, scrambled egg (fried also good), sausages, mushrooms, toast with butter or fried bread, hash browns, a little bit of black pudding on the side. No beans. Big cup of tea, or a pint if in the pub. Not seen Jimmy or Luv this enthusiastic for a while! If the season continues to go tits up, maybe we should just all meet up for a fry up and pretend it never happened?
I usually have a bit of fried tomato in a bacon butty as well, I'd not heard of that logic tbh, but I suppose that makes sense and would maybe explain why I prefer it. You're bang right about the HP
