Manchester United will not be participating in the European Super League.

We have listened carefully to the reaction from our fans, the UK government and other key stakeholders.

We remain committed to working with others across the football community to come up with sustainable solutions to the long-term challenges facing the game.

They literally signed up for it mate, it wasn’t just a cheeky chat over Zoom, and a bit of a laugh.

£1Bn debt btw, wowzers. All dem overspending clubz doh ;)

That’s the stadium...a payment structure is in place to pay the loan back. COVID hit us hard by scuppering the use of the stadium and Levy will happily balance that up a bit by spending pennies in the transfer window

They don't have to remove them from competitions, they can just deduct points for every super league game they play. Eventually it would then no longer serve a purpose those six clubs remaining in the Prem.

Don't forget, point deductions have been levied on teams every season, for one reason or another and no one has successfully fought that yet that I can remember. Been quite a few teams given point deductions over the last few seasons.

Luton were deducted 20 points for their owners misdeeds which got them relegated league 1 and then the following season deducted 30 points for the same thing which got them relegated to the National League

They are of course back in the Championship but took them 15 years

If the big six were deducted 20 points Spurs and Arsenal would probably be playing in the inferior league from the Championship

The sun will crisp the entire planet before you pay back that, lad.

Spurs fans from now on, we've not won a trophy for years, but at least we were invited to the big six party.
