They would have loved to have been involved but no doubt were invited!
Amazon are just as bad.

I may be wrong so any Toffees fans can correct me, but aren't Everton one of the few clubs in the PL whose owners have a reputation of consulting with fans on certain issues? Didn't they try and change the badge a few years back and the fans said no so they dropped it?
I'm no fan of Amazon. but the more media outlets that say they're not interested the better. Doesn't do much for any bidding war there might be for coverage rights.
True.
The more isolationist it becomes the better!
FWIW I think this is just a wind up . They will strike a deal with UEFA and everyone will be happy .
( Apart from the fans ) .
They'll end up broadcasting it themselves maybe go halves with Trump and his new set up which it'll suit me so I won't get hoodwinked as part of an another package. It will end up being televised on Dave six months after the games have been played, which will be fitting as the whole ****ing thing is one bad joke!

Why well done? I don't disagree with any of it, but it's a self-serving statement from the club.Well done Everton![]()
Absolutely, the sooner the PL and Sky get back in the driving seat, the sooner we can all go back to stop having to pretend we care about the rest of the football pyramid.
Win, win...
I'm not. I'm also not giving out praise to ****s who are jumping on the bandwagon for their own benefit.^^^Not taking joining the ESL well I see
The way Gary Neville and Jamie carragher have been it would surprise me if sky would welcome it.I'm no fan of Amazon. but the more media outlets that say they're not interested the better. Doesn't do much for any bidding war there might be for coverage rights.
Also could the UK government just block any forms of broadcasting connected to the ESL?I'm no fan of Amazon. but the more media outlets that say they're not interested the better. Doesn't do much for any bidding war there might be for coverage rights.
They did try it when they hosted the World Cup but were told to GTF.

Just BT sports now and then you have all the major players in the UK saying no.

Had they turned down an offer or something, then I'd agree. They're just doing what's best for them right now, though.
