Kuyt getting his head stapled up.

I've only just realised Jo was playing when I saw him during the break,I see he's in full Fred mode by being totally invisible.

Maybe they're thinking of the touch downs of American & Canadian Football (AFL & CFL)

That used to be the case on the televised matches at Highbury, there must have been a young female Arsenal fan close to the microphones, who used to scream when the opposition had a good chance to score! <laugh>

Nice tackle vlaar, that's what you call letting someone know you're there.

Reminds me of my playing days where you'd do that to anyone with coloured boots!

This time perhaps change the routine with a pre-game visit to the Crown & Sceptre then post-match celebrations at the Coningham Arms, as I experienced last Nov 23rd for the Charlton match with the Irish R's!

We should sign him up - thou shalt not pass, a page out of Richard Dunne's play book.

I do like our coaches now allowing our youth team to wear them.

Back then, only one or two would wear them. These days I might even get booked after the 5th or 6th bad foul. I suppose I could concentrate on blokes wearing the Nike wool boots, yes they do make them.

Just watched the joey bid. I'm in the Dunne camp, wear pumas. I also liked him ripping warrior and the thin boots because it hurts enough getting stamped on with normal boots.

Wahay, we have our first diving booking. He was going down before he got there but there's been a dozen worse dives than that.

and these by Adidas......knit one, pearl one, something to keep Suarez busy while he serves out his ban.

Luis Suárez launches the new adidas primeknit boot!

Luis Suárez has scored 23 goals in the Premier League this season and he may debut the new primeknit football boots in the upcoming matches against Southampton and Manchester United. Weighing just 165 grams the new primeknit football boots an upper which is knitted from heel to toe providing a second skin for your foot.

The boot offers new levels of flexibility and comfort which is provided by the one-piece knitted upper of the boot. The yarns that have constructed the boot provide stability and strength equal to standard model boots.

he advanced production of the one-piece knitted upper has allowed for special zones on the boot with different depths to suit various performance needs. It will be interesting to see whether the primeknit material provides enough protection for strikers like Suárez.

he boot is constructed with no wastage of any materials making it one of the most environmentally firendly football boot on the market today. The Liverpool ace was seen in training testing out a black-out pair of primeknit football boots.

he boot will be available in mid March at adidas retail stores. The introduction of primeknit into adidas boots further pushes the German brand to the top in terms of innovation and technology.

Brazil remind me of QPR in the PL, dysfunctional, playing well below their ability with a clueless manager who just threw them out there and expected them to win.

The WC logo sums them up, facepalm.

Nice Brazil dive cost them a third goal, I like to see that.

For a "shot-stopper" he didn't make much of an effort on that 3rd goal.

Its a shame their manager ruined the chance in their semi. A final with them and Germany would have been great. Now we have to watch the argies try every dirty trick in the book and play for pens from the start.
