Filipao has got a meeting with the board now, if he keeps his job it will be a miracle. In Brasil it's not uncommon for sides to change managers after only 5 or 6 games if success isn't achieved virtually straight away. They change kits almost as often too.
Definitely. Less than the sum of their parts by a long way. Even with Neymar in the side they never really fired on all cylinders. Willian, Ramires, and Oscar were nowhere near as good for their country as for Chelsea, and David Luiz was shockingly poor. As for Fred, words fail me....
Even if it was true I am not sure they could save Brazil. They did get some generous decisions against Croatia and if Brazil had lost their opener all hell would have broken loose.
Hahaha, just seen the penalty/yellow card decision. There must be at least 12 better refs at the World Cup than him.
Perhaps they want to have refs from different continents as they gave the semi finals to a Mexican and Turk and they wanted someone from Africa - pity they didn't pick the Somalian (?) ref who was good earlier in the tournament.
