    I want you guys to remember that only 5 players in the current Dutch side come from international competitions. The other 6 are from the Eredivisie. Well... Bruno Martins Indi is heading to Porto next week but you get the point.

    Is part of the problem for Brazil that they didn't have to qualify for the World Cup?

    i.e. they haven't played a competitive game against a top international side for 2 years, until the game against Germany.

    They were pretty good in the confederations cup last year though. Fred fitted in really well and got a lot of praise. They pressed and harried Spain in the final and destroyed them, although you could argue about how much commitment Spain had. They crossed the line from harrying teams to kicking them for some reason.
