So does anyone know how David Luiz is worth 50m yet?

Well Brazil have 5 wins to look back on, I think I'd have to live to be 350 to see us top that.

The Germans must win it all now, after this and be the 1st Europeans to win in South America.

Would I be right in guessing that a lot of Southampton fans animosity towards Brasil, is partly because of the Brazilians who play in the PL?

David Luiz seems to be hate figure No1 which might back up that theory.

Nothing to do with how many play in the PL. It is to do with them being a diving cheating team that get hyped up to **** whilst never really playing any football.

For me it's just that this squad is not as deserving of a World Cup as Germany. Or Chile for that matter. They're just not that good. It'd disappoint me if a sub-par team won a World Cup, and this is very sub-par Brazil.

Actually I might have hit on something with Chile. A lot of people are ****ed off that they managed to get past Chile.

True. The amount of money each PL club gets is obscene - scrape a mil or two off of each clubs prize money and use it to pay for UEFA pro licences, which are too expensive.

Considering this whole thing is down to nerves, we'd be winning too. As would every other team that played in this tournament. You can't praise Germany for this; it's a gift for them.

I am sad for the people of Brazil but I have never seen such a low quality Brazil squad that play such terrible football. I love the Cafu's, the Lucio's, the Denilson's and Romario's but I cannot get excited watching this team. It is a real shame Brazil could not have hosted it four or eight years ago. I am sure you must be disappointed with all of your Brazil connections and I am sorry about that.

That's just the underdog that we English love Joe!

I support Brasil as much as England (more sometimes tbh) as it's a second home for me, extended family and friends there etc; I know how much they love their football and they'll be really hurting right now especially as it's in their home town and state capital. I don't think they'll ever get over it!

He's Welsh, if they'd hammer England, then Wales would probably be pile driven. Or leak a lot of goals.
