Why are both Spain and Holland in their away kits as neither away kit clashes with the other teams home one?

That's idiotic, I mean that takes stupidity to new levels.

It still doesn't really answer the question though, why can't Spain play in red as the home team against Holland in navy.

Will it confuse the ref as both are "dark"?

It's confused the referees regardless, they must all be members of the Blind League...

Having looked at the other kits, orange counts as light but red counts as dark but they are too similar to play at once, twats.

And this is Uruguay's dark kit!

Complete dive for the pen, the bloke was 2 feet away from him and he stuck his leg into him.

2.5 matches in and we are 0 for 6 on big calls which is a disgrace.

Blatter has been going on about giving managers two 'challenges' during games, as they do in the NFL. Maybe his refs are doing their best to make him look reasonable...

It won't do a thing, that pen would still have been given. Things will only change when players get booked for contact dives like that.

Remember the fa panel upheld Young's dive?

Yes indeed, from almost being 2-0 down, they're 1-1, that's football for you!

And now the twats on the BBC panel will say it was a penalty, they will mention contact and the right to go down.

Edit, they didn't disappoint, shearer is a tool.

I remember in the good old days of black & white TV in the 1960's - 1966 World Cup in particular, you couldn't have say Chelsea playing in blue shirts against say Liverpool in red shirts, since they would both look dark in B&W.

Second half will be interesting, the Dutch have tactically forced the Spanish to change their game and they don't look as dominant as usual. Van Gaal's tactics have paid off...

Which is fair enough but we can move on now. Eg the flyers and leafs should be able to play each other in home jerseys.
